He just might be a lefty! He's been doing aLOT with his left hand lately. Cool!

At story hour on Thursday, there was a visitor!
Okay, so maybe you don't know who Mizner Mouse is. Addison Mizner was an architect in the 1920s who designed a lot of south Florida's most famous resorts and homes. Some Palm Beachers wrote a really cute storybook about Mizner Mouse that talks about the history of Palm Beach and has pictures of the mouse in different Palm Beach landmarks.
So Thursday we read Mizner Mouse in storyhour, and he came to visit the kids. We also made a little mousey treat!
Vanilla ice cream with a little mousey face, although we couldn't even get that second ear on before little Levi ate it, haha.
Love my job. :)

That time of year is upon us, the time when we go to the pool four times in three days.
In two weeks, we'll have to rely on the kindness of friends for pool trips! Luckily, the beach is like 5 minutes away, so that is always an option too.
We've finished swim class, but we're meeting up with friends once a week to "practice."
'Tis the season for tan lines and green hair!

Little Levi helped by decorating the boxes (and the couch), and by taking all the blank CDs off their spool and putting them back on again.
I think I stole these boxes from Walmart by accident. I drove behind Walmart, and there were huge piles of these boxes all flattened and in a pile. I grabbed a pile of them, thinking they were going to trash or recycling. Then later I noticed all the boxes said, "Do not throw away, returnable boxes." Oops, I guess Walmart was returning them and not trashing them. Oh well.
We close on our house one week from Tuesday! Then we move on Friday. Our current building does not allow you to move on the weekend (crazy, right?), so we're going to be a little short-handed.

One of little Levi's favorite games is riding the elevator. But sometimes I get tired of riding up and down and up and down and up and down. Levi, however, does NOT take no for an answer.
He is *just* tall enough to push the down button on his own. But luckily he won't get on the elevator alone. He comes crying back to Mom.

Last week little Levi got the dreaded ... pinkeye!!
It came along with a nasty ear infection, too. Ouch! Poor little buddy.
I happened to be babysitting a 6-month old that very day. Oops. That little guy's mom actually had to come home from Girl's Camp because I was supposed to watch him the next two days also. That baby did NOT catch it, miraculously.
I do feel pretty lucky, though, that he's 19-months old and this is his first time on antibiotics. He's been pretty healthy. I also feel very lucky that I didn't catch it!

Easter Eve that sneaky Easter Bunny got into our house somehow and left baby Levi some great gifts.
I made this basket out of an Olive Garden takeout bag!
I think he was more excited about these gifts than he was about his Christmas presents, since he could actually see them right away and didn't have to deal with pesky wrapping paper.
I love the look on his face. "Awesome!"
The boy is crazy about cars.
He also really likes letters. Sounds strange, right? He can identify probably 2/3 of the alphabet. Well, I bet he can identify all the letters, but can only pronounce about 2/3 of them. Letters like "F," "L," and "H" are going to take awhile.
Yeah, it was really early in the morning.
I didn't get a picture of us in our Easter duds, though! And no, baby Levi did not wear jeans to church for Easter. Grandma Sherrie gave him a really cute suit for Easter. No picture though! Sorry! Here's a cute one of baby Levi from last Easter as a send-off.
Just learning to stand!
