Beach Bums

Two weeks ago Krystle, Paul, and Peyton paid us a visit from Arizona! It was so fun to have them!

They stayed in Miami with Lexi and Ale the majority of the time and enjoyed the free babysitting, sleeping in, the beach, free babysitting, fish tacos, and oh yeah, free babysitting! Levi J and I met up with them for a beach day on Wednesday. On Saturday we all got together for kayaking, barbeque, biking, and some more beach. Sunday we all did an evening barbeque at our casa. By Monday we thought they would be beached out, but they wanted one last beach day so we obliged with a beach perfect for the toddlers.

Unfortunately I was not good with the picture taking. I didn't even get a shot with all three sisters together! And Peyton was so fast on his feet it was hard to get a good picture of him. So apologies for that.

Yay for family!

Love This Little Parasite

I do have to admit that I find most ultrasound pictures to be pretty creepy, even ones of my own babies. I love seeing the baby moving around and seeing all the different organs and body parts, but the pictures do look like alien skeletons.

BUT I have to share this one, because look how cute that little baby is stretching her/his legs up! S/he would do one leg, then the other, just like I do at night when my legs are restless. I'm in love.

And the blood is with the lab, so we should know by next Friday whether we have a little boy or a little girl! I can hardly wait!

Snug As a Bug

Doesn't this just look heavenly?

Here a Hop, There a Leap, Everywhere a Chasse

I have so many hilarious videos of Levi J dancing. Someday I need to put them all together in a montage. I would watch it all day every day. In the meantime, here's one from this morning of him dancing to Old McDonald. Watch all the way to the end to see his bow.

Oh, and PS, sorry for the lack of pants.

Happy Day To Me

We have a tradition in our moms group (moms group or moms' group? I guess either makes sense) of doing a Mother's Day craft party with the toddlers. We make Mother's Day presents for ourselves, because it's pretty much the only way you'll get a toddler-made craft you actually want (if we waited for the dads to do it it would either not happen at all [most likely scenario] or be kind of terrible, ha). We also make Mother's Day crafts for the grandmas, too.

This year, Levi J and I made a cement stepping stone to put in our garden. It has his hand- and footprint, shells, starfish, shark teeth, and some pretty green glass. I love it! I can just imagine looking at it with him as a teenager or grown man and sighing at how small he once was.

Temple Trippin

We had our first temple trip to the Ft Lauderdale temple on Saturday! It was a baptism trip with the youth, and we were all excited. I stayed out with Levi J, hung out on the temple grounds, and went to the playground. And we were home again by early afternoon! Yay.

Layover

The other day Levi J asked over and over again to go to the airport. We live about five minutes from the Palm Beach airport, so I thought we could drive over there and watch planes take off.

Unfortunately, that wasn't good enough for the little guy. He really wanted to go *inside* the airport. So we did!

We went inside, watched planes take off up close and personal, and played in the kids area. We had to pay two bucks for parking, but all in all it wasn't a bad idea on Levi's part!
